We've reached and exceeded our goal!

In addition to all of our fans who have believed in us since the beginning. I just wanted to thank everyone for coming out and seeing us at the show. Your contributions and support have made everything possible. From everyone on the staff here at Safe Heart, we thank you for making this campaign a success.

We will be sending out devices very soon, so once campaign closes, please let us know which model of phone you have so we can get an idea of how our user group is represented.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Future Plans

The best part about a smart-phone based pulse oximeter is that the app can be improved. More features, special functions can all be added over time. As of now, the first iOximeter app will feature only the functions described, but within the next 12 months, we plan on adding a host of new improvements to the interface look, and new metrics to be measured. Here are just a couple:

Respiration Rate - By enhancing the filtering algorithm in the app, we will be able to read and calculate the respiration rate. This gives the user an additional key vital sign measurement, Without buying additional hardware.

Data Transmission - If you are a user of Microsoft HealthVault, our app will allow you to to upload your recorded data so that you can keep track of it along your other measurements.

The iOximeter - getting better all the time.
